Le Grand Combin, Switzerland - watercolour ink painting
I made this painting of Le Grand Combin whilst sitting on my terrace in Verbier. The luxury apartments have now been built in front of the view. Although it didn't obstruct my view of the mountains too much there was quite a tall thin chimney in the way which I have omitted from the painting. During this period I enjoyed working with just one colour of blue and was inspired by Japanese printmaking.
