Here is a painting of the view looking down into the Chamonix valley and across the Mont Blanc massif from telecabine Bellevue near to St Gervais les Bains. The painting incomapses collage and textured acrylic paint. The photo that I worked from was taken into 2006 when I was leading trekkers across the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt.
